Aude Mermilliod
Aude Mermilliod is a comic book artist.
Originally from Lyon, this true autodidact left her hometown after high school to study at the Beaux Arts in Toulouse. Living next to a bookstore/gallery, she discovered comics by immersing herself in an immeasurable quantity of diverse and varied albums.
In 2014, she spends a year in Montreal in a workshop where the independent Quebec publishing houses Pow Pow and La Mauvaise Tête are present. This allowed her to work on her project Les Reflets changeants, with which she won the Prix Raymond Leblanc de la Jeune Création in 2015.
In 2019, the album Il fallait que je vous le dise is published by Éditions Casterman, which deals with the subject of abortion in the form of an autobiography, as well as the story of the life of the author and doctor Martin Winckler.
