Mathilde Domecq
Born in Marseille in 1982, Mathilde Domecq graduated in Illustration in 2005 from the School of Arts Déco in Strasbourg.
She started the comic strip in the youth press and drew Mission Saturn with Herlé, for the magazine Pif Gadget and Poï-Poï & Tito for the magazine Glop, glop !
In 2006, she joined the Tchô ! team with the series Basile & Melba. The adventures of these two children that everything opposes has become a series of comic books.
In 2012, she created Paola Crusoé, revisiting with creativity and emotion the myth of the castaways, which volume 1 was in the youth selection at the Angoulême festival. Mathilde also has a taste for music and entertainment, and took part in several concert drawings such as La Balade de Paola Crusoé, during which her drawing was projected on a large screen live from the concert of three musicians.
Since 2018, she publishes on her Instagram account Amour fantôme, a series of tender and poetic drawings, featuring missing characters with invisible ink... This series has moved the readers and is a great success.
Mathilde Domecq joined The Ink Link in 2020 and contributed to the Faire Face project.
