Card game kit for displaced people
Cards for discussion
Developed in a participatory way with displaced people (adults and unaccompanied children), this game facilitates dialogue and self-presentation in a caring context, enabling people to express for the first time the losses/shortcomings they feel.
The game invites you to assemble cards that look like you, and say who you are. The supervisor can either be an observer and give the rules, or also play while continuing to set the rules.
Olivier Coldefy, clinical psychologist-psychoanalyst and forensic expert, worked on the design with Laure Garancher, co-founder of The Ink Link.
The aims of Cas par Cas
- Enables people to tell their own story, in a context where migrants' stories are often centered on asylum claims and difficult memories.
- Encourages exchanges between displaced people. They get to know each other by making the most of their assets (culture, ability to migrate, family history, etc.).
- Enables the supervisor to gather the information needed to take charge of the person: anamnesis, content for the asylum application, positive and negative moments of a journey...
