Arthur De Pins
After studying animation at the Arts-Décos in Paris, Arthur de Pins directed commercials and short films (including La Révolution des Crabes, which won the audience award at Annecy) while beginning a career as an illustrator.
His style, marked by the use of Illustrator software, is easily recognizable by its round shapes and the absence of lines. It is with the series (for adults) Péchés mignons that he begins his career as a cartoonist with Fluide Glacial. He also published La Marche du crabe, at Soleil's Noctambule collection, and finally his great adventure series Zombillénium in the pages of Spirou magazine. This last series, still in progress, which mixes fantastic creatures and social intrigue, was adapted by the author into an animated feature film in 2017.
