Born in 1981, Marie de Monti lives in Brussels and has been working in publishing and press since the early 2000s.

She has illustrated about sixty books, mainly novels and documentaries, and also collaborates with many youth and old age magazines.

Passionate about animals, she has had the great honor of drawing the mascots of Wapiti magazine for the past three years: the Wapitos, half-magical, half-animal creatures, whose crazy and militant adventures she draws and co-imagines every month. The adventures of Poncho, Bloup, Rita, Foxy, Mimosa, Archy and their dog Bernard, have so far at least one registered fan, whose name is Victor, let's hope that the years to come will bring them a second one!
