Mat Let
Born in 1983 and self-taught, Mat is an illustrator, notebook artist and graphic facilitator.
A great traveler, he told in his notebooks his adventures in Iran, Cameroon or Brazil with humor and the desire to connect with the people and places that crossed his path. It is this same road that brought him back home to Paris, where he finally realized that the magic of travel has nothing to do with the distance traveled, but rather with the way we look at what surrounds us.
He then began to be a reporter of daily life by drawing in the streets, parks or bars of the capital. His activity as a notebook artist leads him to take a look at society by sketching life in prison, the daily life of a shooting gallery in Paris, commitment and militancy...
In March 2020, stuck at home like most of us, Mat drew every day the stories of the first confinement. He self-published a book, financed by an Ulule campaign: 28m2 - Carnet de confinement, published in September 2020.
