Jérémie Moreau

scenario and drawing

Jérémie Moreau participated for the first time at the Angoulême Festival's school comic book contest at the age of 8, and won the prize at 16. He then entered the Gobelins school to study animation and took part in the Young Talents competition, winning the first prize at the 39th Angoulême Festival.

Jérémie pursued for a while a double career as a comic book artist and character designer for animated films, before devoting himself fully to comics. Le Singe de Hartlepool, his first album produced with Wilfrid Lupano, won the Prix des Libraires spécialisés and the Prix Château de Cheverny for historical comics. In 2014, he published the two-part series Max Winson, his first work as a complete author.  In 2015, he released Tempête au haras, a children's comic book adapted from the children's novel by Chris Donner.

In January 2018, he won the Fauve d'or at the Angoulême International Comics Festival for his album La Saga de Grimr, published by Éditions Delcourt.
